1861 Census shows him living in Lowick, born about 1800 in Lowick. IGI shows a Cuthbert Archbold, b. 23 Apr 1800, c. 26 Apr 1800 at Lowick to Joshua ARCHBOLD and Elizabeth ELSDON.

Buried at Lowick. Died at Bousden 13.04.1868 (?) aged 66. Gravestone at Lowick Church says:

“Robert Archbold who died at Slainsford 9.8.1838 (? – might be 1833) age 1 yr and 10 mths. Also John who died at Slainsford, March 1839, age 2 years and 7 mhts. Also Cuthbert Archbold, father of the above who died at Bowsden (?) 13.4.1868 age 66 years. Also Tatie (?) his wife, died 16.2.1865 age 65”
