Random Jottings

As I work my way through the multitude of ancestors that make up my family tree, I often dig into little anecdotes, bits of history and look at the odd statistic here and there. So I've decided to set up a 'Random Jottings' directory to store them all for all to see. This section will be updated as and when the muse takes me.
