Findlay Steele Associates Ltd

A couple of days after the announcement of the other FSA's new name in October 1997, Findlay Steele Associates were approached by the other FSA, out of the blue. They wanted to buy the domain name. We arranged a meeting to discuss the matter.

Unfortunately, we were unable to agree terms and the representative of the other FSA departed saying they would just have to bear the risk of any potential confusion, albeit small.

They settled for the more obvious domain name of fsa.gov.uk. More obvious because they are actually a government created and board appointed organisation.
