He also has two apprentices, William TUCKWOOD age 20 and William BISHOP age 17. 1881 census, still in Old Dalby, carpenter and grazier employing 1 man and 2 apprentices. One of his apprentices is with him - Thomas UNDERWOOD aged 19. Also has a servant, Joseph HYMAN aged 14 and a Lodger, George STANHOPE age 30, a railway labourer. His niece, Sarah E WOODFORD, aged 19 is also a domestic servant 1891. 1901 census, a widowed grazier still in Old Dalby he has two grandchildren, Mary A, age 15 and Edith E age 13, both born Melton Mowbray, assumed to be children of William John. |
